Dior had its 2008/2009 Haute Couture show yesterday in Paris, and it looks like ruffles and volume are here to stay.
The show started off on a sombre mood with lots of structured volume coupled with dainty suits…However things soon lightened up with beautiful dresses in an array of candy shades.
Big candy coloured frothy dresses went down the catwalk with a hint of nipped in waists and structured necklines reminiscent of the fashion houses ‘Golden Age’ during the 40’s and 50’s.
Counteracting the girly essence of the dresses was the strict and Princess Leiah-like hair and dark lips.
It’s clear to say that several looks will be big this Winter; volume, nipped in waists, candy shades and glamour glamour glamour!!
